Diana, what a beautiful site and memorial for Danny! My heart prays for you and your family that you will continue to believe that one day you and Danny will be reunited. God Bless you for helping in the fight against the Florida DJJ abuse and all over the country to our Children!

My daughter Brittany Mercado died @ Devereux Treatment facility on 2/26/08.She strangled herself in bathroom. She was suppose to be on Formal Observation ,they left her alone for over 20 monutes.

Your site is very moving. I am so sorry for your loss, but happy to see that you have put your heart and soul into doing what you can to prevent such a horrible thing from happening to other children and families. Hello my name is chrita cherry, and im a mother of six children 5 girls and 1 son oldest one is 17 and youngest is 11. I pray for their safety everyday. I cant imagine how it must feel to lose a child at an early age, my heart goes out to all the families who have lost a loved one. May god bless and keep all of you healthy and strong everyday.

Thank you, get more information if you can on Catherine Freer Wilderness program, because from what I know, they are the worst of the bad programs! Quote from a counselor, "I dont care what happens to you, really, I just care about my pay at the end." I may not be perfect, like cause of the hot heat and neglect on a "solo" I started a fire in the desert and nearly killed everyone and 1000 acres, had it not been for a little rain the night b4 everyone including myself would be dead, that was June 2006. Get info on it if u can, and post it! Please! And pay little more to google so it comes before or right after the Catherine freer web page, thanks
